 Abused
Abused

As memories fade
With passing days
Her heart begins to heal
She had it made
They all would say
But that was so unreal
She knew back then
She had no friends
To help her through this pain
When she was ten
Her time she'd spend
Trying to explain
The truth came out
There was no doubt
Her body was abused
She'd scream and shout
Day in day out
She never could refuse
Ten years have gone
She feels withdrawn
When will she ever mend
The time is near
She has no fear
This tragic life will end
