LIFT MY SPIRIT
LIFT MY SPIRIT
When I look down to the sadness inside
Ifeel so sorry little and low.
But when I look up to jesus above.
My heart is lifted and I feel glad
He lifts my spirit upto his throne.
And one with his spirit I will soar
Then I look down on the world below.
And God fills me with compassion from himself
Then he draws me to his side.
Tells me he loves and cares for me.
Gives me hope and peace anew
Holds me in his arms till I feel secure
