I thank God for His Son who came
A lifetime of eternity I now have to gain
I thank God I am no longer lost
Jesus Christ sacrificed himself on the cross
The cross, you see, means a lot to me
It means healing, deliverance, and victory
I thank Jesus for leaving His heavenly home
I thank Him for the grace,
mercy and great love He has shone
No greater love than this
that a man lay down His life
For such wretched souls like you and I
No longer does death eternity has the right
to meet me face to face
Because Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior
has already paved my way
Tears of joy flows down my face
because of what Jesus has done for me
I thank Him and I thank Him continuously
We, my friends should not take the cross for granted
We should always give honor to Jesus
Everyday we should thank Him
Even though Jesus died
He most definitely rose again
Giving us the assurance
that victory had settled in.
