Release the pain of your ball and chain
and start living and breathing again
In life there are many bumps in the road
and there are many hurdles to cross
and there are many raindrops to feel falling down on your face
like a waterfall cleansing the soul
to give you hope for a better tomorrow
We have all seen sadness
and we have all seen pain
but the time is now
to let go of your sorrow and be free again
Break the ball and chain
that is causing you so much pain
and let rivers of love
embrace your heart and soul
So that the hate and the hurt
that you feel inside
can slowly fade away
There are many lessons to learn
in this one life that we have
so that we can grow
and we can climb
and believe in the dream
of a better tomorrow
No matter what
you have gone through
focus on the good things
even if they are just a few
and let go of the negativity
and let the positives take over
so that you can live a whole new life
right here on earth
So that some day
when that time comes
and heaven opens its doors
you will finally be free
for an eternity
filled with love and happiness.
The first step to healing
is knowing that forgiving
is the direction you need to take
So that you can finally be free
from all the sorrow and the hurt and the hate
I have faith in you
and I believe in you
and I know that no matter what
you have been through
that there is still hope
for a better tomorrow
Reach for it
and feel the joy
that awaits you
Start living
a life of happiness again.
At one time or another
we have all been broken down
But instead of falling
we have to learn
to climb that mountain
all over again.
I know you can do it
and I believe that you will make it
Miracles do happen
all you have to do is
have one ounce of faith
and never quit believing
that your life will change
in a positive way.
