A Purpose in Life
Living can be nothing unless,
With hope of righteousness;
Knowing life is after death,
Passed taking our last breath.
For we need a purpose in life,
Other than always seeing strife;
Without having constant fears,
Of it lasting about eighty years.
God did not put us on this earth,
Without a purpose of some worth;
And with having some set goals,
Beyond these bodies for our souls.
That is why in this life we prepare,
For really what awaits us out there;
Depending on what is in His plan,
For every woman and every man.
But it is up to each one to show God,
Our true worth even though flawed;
Our worthiness to join Him in Heaven,
If an eternal life unto us is given.
