Day after day
I always find time
to think about you
in a special way
And I always
remind myself
just how special
you are to me
With every day
that goes by
there is always something
that reminds me of you
For instance today
I noticed
the rose bushes
outside in the yard
are starting to bud
and pretty soon
they will begin to blossom
and the fresh fragrance
of spring time will be in the air again
I also noticed that
the leaves on the trees
are starting to show
and in a few more weeks
there will be shade in the yard
I have always loved this time of year
I just wish that you were here
so that we could share
all the beauty
that is right outside my door.
