Kindness can go a long way

Just the other day I went into the store
to get some shopping out of the way



I got what I needed and then I walked out the door
to my pick up truck



And I proceeded to unload my shopping cart
and I noticed that there was an older woman
loading her groceries into her van
that was right next to mine



I could see that she had almost everything out of her shopping cart
except for a case of water that she had down below



So I asked her if I could help her



And she said she would appreciate
my kindness



And I felt that it was the right thing to do



So I helped her and put the case
of water into her van




As I was getting ready to walk away
she smiled at me and said thank you
young man God bless you
and have a nice day



Its moments like that when I remind myself



That kindness can go a long way
