Follow the light
And embrace it
When you leave
your mortal bodies
Eternal darkness
will disappear
And you will be reassured
by your guardian angel
to lead the way
Because there will be
a time and a place
When we as a human race
Will experience
his eternal power
When love can be
forever and profound
but yet so magnetic
When patience and
fulfillment will never be lost
Because we will be eternally connected
with a light that
encompasses our souls and spirits
Hatred and anger
and pain and sorrow
will leave us forever
never to return
And in return we will feel
his mighty power
Through his commitment
of unconditional love
From a promise
he made to us
a long time ago
When he died on the cross
He died to save our souls
And for those of us
who are gifted by his grace
We will forever
be blessed with eternity
Follow the light
and you shall see
He has a new home
waiting for you and me.
Do not be afraid
to follow the light
So that you can see eternity.
