The ground is moistened and damp
after yet another rainy day
And another year
of winter is almost gone
A new day is born
filled with color
Because spring time
is almost here
The bare trees
have started to bare new leaves
to comfort us with shade
Isn't God awesome
through all of his
magnificent creations
Butterflies are in the midst
as the flowers begin to blossom
The blue birds and the mockingbirds
and the cardinals and the robins
are all chirping away
Because spring time is almost here
The grass is starting to turn green again
and the blended colors of spring is everywhere
Nature in all of it's awesome splendor
awakens all of us to so much more
And giddy faces
and romantic moments
take over the day
And smiles return
because spring time
is almost here
