Every year without fail
when Mother's day comes around
I try and look back to
the days when my Mother was alive
And I try and remember
the special moments
we shared together
through out all the years of her life
She truly was an exceptional woman
She went to church every week
And she didn't drink
And the last five years of her life
she didn't smoke either
because she finally quit smoking
She lived her life giving to others
She was a loving and caring
kind and compassionate woman
And she raised
me as her own son
See my story is
one of thousands
that are out there
And this is just one story
Because I was
one of the lucky ones
Because I was adopted
And I was also wanted
When my mother came into my life
I was eight months of age
She took me home with her
And she nurtured me
and she taught me
through out the days of my life
To be caring,loving,kind,and respectable
And more then anything
she taught me the most
important lesson of all
She taught me what it was like
to be loved unconditionally
And I was also taught
that patience is the virtue to life
I sure do miss my Mother
because she sure did have
a very big influence in my life
And for all of you out there
that has a Mother in Heaven like I do
Try to reflect back on all
the great moments that you shared together
And remember on Mothers day
to try to do something fun
Because she most surly would have wanted
the day to be remembered in a bright way
I am going to end this little story
And I hope that God will
bring this letter to Heaven
on Mothers day
So that my Mother will know
just how special she was to me
all the days of her life
And more importantly
that she will be remembered
every Mothers day
as long as I am alive
God Bless You Mom
Happy Mothers day
When Mothers day comes around
