I cried today because
I miss you so much
Six years have
already gone by
since you have been away
And it seems like it was
just yesterday when you went away
I decided to be positive today
no matter how hard it would be
So in your honor
I planted two more
flower gardens in your name
And every year when
this time comes around again
I will continue to replant
flowers as long as I live
I asked Jesus today
to let you know
that I was thinking about you
in a very special way today
It's amazing how
much time has flown by
since you have been away
And each and every year
I keep asking myself why
you had to die that day
I know there will be
a time and a place
when we will all
be reunited in Heaven
Then I can ask God
all these questions
that keep lingering in my mind
Because I sure have
missed you since
you have been away
Another year has gone by
and tomorrow is your birthday
I hope that you and Dad
will spend it together
I sure do miss all the years
that we used to spend together
Jesus please give Dad and Mom
a big hug for me
today and tomorrow too.
Because they were more
then a treasure in my heart
They were worth there weight in gold
when it came to there beautiful hearts
