Thanks For Loving Me In My Unloveliness

Thanks for loving me even
in my unloveliness,

Even in my ungodliness,
my unholiness,
my unrighteousness,

Even in my unworthiness
of Your Infinite Love,
Grace and Mercy ---

Thanks for dying on the
cross for me,
even though I, myself,
are deserving of the punishment ---

Thanks for saving me
from my sins
for I am unable to save
myself,

Since my salvation
is The Greatest Expression
of Your Love,

I am not to take credit
for this,
lest I should boast ---

Of course, boasting is
excluded,

With me, it's impossible
but with You, all things
are possible ---

So thanks for loving me
even in my unloveliness,

I'd like for Your loveliness
to shine through me!
