Poetry For Everyone
Suppose To Be
You were suppose to be our parents;
yet,we as children felt all alone!
You were suppose to be our caretakers;
but,you were always gone!
You were suppose to love us,each and every one!
You abused all ten of us;
including,your only son!
You were suppose to keep us secure;
yet,you filled our lives with misery
from our innocent,most precious years!
how could you abuse us so easily?
All we needed was your love;
But,we got treated so measily!
You were suppose to be our best friend!
Lord,have mercy on you both;
because,you were not even close,in the end!
This was written for my parents ,in hope they will realize what happened in
the past really scarred many futures.Hopefully,it will never happen again.
perhaps parents in this situation will read this and know some of the
feelings;that ,the children carry for the rest of their lives!May we all
find forgiveness deep within our being someday!God Bless!
