My heart aches and my spirit cries today
(Her spirit lives through me now)
(God bless you Mom I miss you
with all my heart and soul)

My heart aches and my spirit cries today
Written by D.A.M
May 3, 2007 (8:53am)

My heart aches
and my spirit cries today
as I weep silently in sorrow

It's the month of May
and there is so much
for me to say today

Because another year
has gone by so swiftly
and it's been
nine years ago
since you passed away

Its hard to  believe
how much time has passed by
since that day
when we said goodbye to each other

I still remember that day
as if it was just yesterday
when you said your final words to me
as I cried on your shoulder

You told me
that you loved me
and I told you
I loved you to

They were
the last words
that we ever
shared together

My heart aches
and my spirit cries today
as I weep silently in sorrow
