Meant to Be

There are so many things
I would like to thank you for
And when I think I have them all
All the sudden, I think of more.

When I first say you
My heart skipped a beat
I waited calmly and patiently
For the day our love would meet

Dreaming of you nightly
Was not enough for me
I thought all hours of the day
Of how or love would be

I love all of your antics
And all your little jokes
You can always make me smile or laugh
When I need it the most.

I want to stay in your arms forever
I know I'll be safe there
You're constantly on my mind
Because I know you really care

Through thick and thin, I'll be there
Through Heaven and Hell I'll stay
I'll give you my shoulder to cry on
I'll help you along the way
I've waited a long time for love
And now I finally see
That when I first say you
That's when I knew we were meant to be.
