Undeniably You
Baby I know I confuse you
And make you second-guess
‘cause you're wondering if one day when you ask
If I love you my answer wont be yes.
I know I tell you one thing
And my poetry says another
So from the way I'm writing
It seems I have a secret lover
One single misunderstanding
Is all that it takes
For some one to get hurt, or worse,
Their heart to break
And although we've been through so much
We haven't come far yet.
Now I know you understand
Why love has such regret.
Please understand, I have trouble talking
Even though I do love you
It's just every time I think about giving in
I think of all the manipulation you could do.
I know I always say you have a wall
And you refuse to let me in
But it me that needs the most work
And it helps that you're my friend.
When you are away from me
I start to feel incomplete
But I still cant seem to open up
Even though my love for you runs deep.
I really do think you're crazy
And not just because of me
But now I'm starting to think
That a lunatic is just what I need.
So, have patience, my love
Because soon we will get right
Even if it takes an eternity
And a lifetime of fussing and fights
One day we will look back
And just smile as we reminisce
How we have come so far and
Everything we once put at risk
but now we must be strong
because people are waiting for us to fail
and I'm starting to think its because
we're happy while they are going through hell.
i really don't have the answer
I just know one thing is true
We will not be tested with things
We lack strength in going through
Right now I'm laying in my bed
And feeling really sad
Because of what you constantly go through
And how you life is bad.
I wish I could take your pain
And cast it upon me
So then you would be happy
And I would be worry-free
I just hope one day you will realize
That you really can start over
Because everything happens for a reason
And the world wasn't made to be placed on your shoulder
But as for now, my heart grows colder
Since you aren't next to me
But I know we'll be together once more
When you finally come to me.
Just do not thing I'm cheating
Or laying up with some one new
Because the only person who can rock my world…
