Poems From The Heart

My Instinct (Part II)

Yet another guy…
But I'm still thinking about you
And all of the great things
That the two of us could do.
Your instinct told you to kiss me
But my instinct was telling me more,
Telling me to forget about everything;
Just go with the flow and explore.
I wonder about the two of us
And how good we could and would be.
But then again, there is doubt in my mind…
What if you're just playing with me?
And I know we are doing wrong
But I don't want to be right
Because if I were a princess
Then you'd surely be my *black* knight.
I want to go into the forbidden
And explore things I've never seen,
I want life to be a fairytale.
Because then you would be my king.
I just forget about my man
When I am chillin' with you
Maybe its how you talk…
Yes, you are so freakin' smooth.
So maybe my instinct was right
Maybe you are the one
That I was destined to be with
Before my time begun.
I usually follow my heart
But my instinct is telling me differently
Maybe its because I'm sweet on you
Maybe its because you're into me.
I just know one thing is right,
I should go by what I think
Because even thought everything changes
The only constant is my instinct.
