The Friend I've Never SeenThere's a Friend I've never seen, He's a Very Special Friend very unlike any of the friends that I HAVE seen --- This Friend has died for my sins, suffering the horrific punishment on my behalf so that I may live to the fullest, This Friend loves me much more than even my own mother ever could, and He loves me much more than I love Him, This Special Friend is my strength even during my own weakness, And He's the One that keeps me going, the One that keeps me moving even when I slip and fall --- This Special Friend remains with me even when everyone else disappears, and thus meets those very needs that I, myself, am unable to meet! There's a Friend I've never seen at any time, in any form --- Yet I hope that one day I will see Him as He really is, along with His smile as well as a hug from Him!
