When ever I see a rainbow
appear in the sky
I am reminded that
after every storm
that peace and tranquility
will return soon
to enlighten me
and comfort me
in a very special way
Because I know
that the darkness and the rain will go away
and that sunshine will soon return
to brighten my day
It always is a wonderful
transformation to watch and see
Because I always feel blessed
every time I am able to capture
and see so much beauty
as it is being recreated
and transformed in the skies
right before my eyes
