We poets form a circle of life in all its glory
Putting feelings into words to tell about lifes` story
Of happiness or sadness and sometimes just a smile
Words that speak for all of us, no matter what the style.
We share our thoughts with others to lend a helping hand
To let the world around us know that we do understand.
That life can sometimes be so hard or lonely or just sad
Poets form a circle to help others feel less bad.
We are so very lucky that words right from our heart
Can show so many people how to make a brand new start.
So when you judge yourselves and wonder why you write
