Hold a seashell next to your ear

Enjoy the slide show and the video in this poem.

Hold a sea shell
next to your ear
and let your mind
wander back to yesteryear
and let your imagination
begin to hear
the sounds of ocean waves
singing in your ear

Let your imagination
begin to feel
the waves as they splash
against the sand
and hear the sounds
as they bring back
special memories
of a different place and time
when you were very young
playing next to the sea shore
as you were building
castles in the sand

Hold a sea shell
next to your ear
and let your mind
wander back to yesteryear
