 Cottingley 1917

Pinket looked down,
from the branches,
of the old oak tree,
high above the beck.
Look Nanny Button Cap,
there are the girls,
what are they doing today?

Did you remember to,
bring the hatpins Elsie?
Asked Frances.
We can stand,
the fairy pictures up,
and take the photograph,
down near the waterfall.

Humans are funny,
said Pinket,
shaking his head,
as he flew away.
I don't understand them,
at all.
