Dreamy state of mind

The night was quickly coming to an end
and my eyes began to grow heavy
as I found myself falling
into a blissful state of sleep
and then into a dreamy state mind
I began to hear
and feel the sounds of
misty dew drops falling
down to the ground
And I could see them dancing
on several blades of grass
in slow motion
This experience I was having
was so amazing
and quite refreshing
Then suddenly
I could sense and feel
your ethereal body was next to mine
and I knew in that very moment
how special this dream was going to be
Because this was a time
that I could spend with you
in a dreamy state of mind
Whispering winds
continued to
comfort me through out the night
and I truly did feel whole and complete
with you beside me in my dreams
I could also hear
a flowing gentle stream
beyond the meadow
with the sounds of birds singing
And this was when
I was awakened
with the sun shining
through my bedroom window
feeling refreshed
and so complete
Because you were
beside me through out the night
while I was asleep
and in a dreamy state of mind
