Unobtrusively
She found a corner
A spot far away from prying eyes
Baby's need
And mother's strong urge
She cuddled the mite
As it hungered for milk
She sat there
A beautiful summer afternoon
On a bench secluded by
Bushy scented rhododendrons
Infant willing,
She draped herself in capacious pashmina
And opened her book
To while the time
Pink fleshy little legs
Hung over mothers lap
Involvement between the pair
Which would ripen
Into a unique relationship
So rich in love and common bond
