Lift me to a higher place
A sacred place where silence speaks and
Stillness moves me
Where mountain snow spins its magic
And clings fearlessly to the rough rocks
Let me take virgin steps on smooth white sheets
Shivering
Crystallised beauty
My feet are heavy
Bound by coldness and pain
Yet a sense of lightness inside me
Drifting wildly in freezing loneliness
But not alone for
My friends are in my heart
And I warm my hands on their abiding love
