SADNESS
Sadness
Is an overhanging grey cloud
Wrapping my shoulders
In dark gloom
Sadness
Is a carpet of woe
Despondency courts me
Sadness
Is a curtain
Shrouded places with
Veiled shadows
Hidden in corners
The wretchedness
Makes me weary
A weight pummelling and
Pressing me firmly down
Despair is my sadness
