CONFFESSIONYesterday my emotions roused And defiled your innocent feelings I caused your soul to tremble When I razzed you with viperous stares And you felt terrible My conscience is now in torment At the though of that moment When I descended like thunderstorm Attacking the calmness of your beaches Robbing your shores of its antique stones, The coral pillars of your shores. My futility has cost me my dignity And the loss of your dear divinity Hurts like is a constant bite It's so hard to bare this spite My heart can't hold its banks Am bursting with a sense of regret Come purge my soul of this pain The arching void in my veins I seek sluice in your pardon So I can lift my face again Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
