SILENCE

The silence is a musical crescendo
I can hear the flutter of a butterfly's wing
Paper thin and fragile
Though strong and makes me sing

The silence is loud and muffled
I can hear my heart beat above the breeze
Shadows that hide behind stout old tree
Venturing out when they please

The silence is both happiness and sadness
I can hear the emotions of loves sweet dream
Wrapped in tender expressions
Flowing over abundant stream

The silence is eerie and whispered
I can hear you breathing as you lay near
Surrounded by a glow of shelter
My sanctuary,

I hold you so dear
