Guiding Light
God saved us to be His chosen,
And sent Christ as our beacon;
Lighting up the dark like the day,
Guiding us to show us the way.
We did nothing for to deserve,
Being negligent for to serve;
For other things we worship more,
And wind up by closing the door.
But God planned it since He is kind,
And desires to keep His bind;
Keeping us as His chosen ones,
Being His daughters and His sons.
Ever before time had begun,
He decided to send His Son;
To show us the kindness within,
And a way to combat the sin.
Christ our savior defeated death,
Giving life after the last breath;
As Good News is shining bright,
To be a ray of hope and light.
