I am waiting

(I have recently lost most of the use in one of my arms
and it has taken some adjusting to
but I must admit that I am humbled because I am alive and I am still among the living).
I am waiting and debating
and I'm contemplating
what may be coming
I have been crying and I have been hurting
and I honestly do need some reassuring
so that I can start healing
and start living my life all over again
I will never quit trying
because I honestly do believe
in the power of prayer
and the power of miracles
I will keep fighting
And I will continue
to hope for a brighter ending
Because I will never
stop believing
in the possibilities
of healing
within my mind body and soul
so that some day
I will truly be
whole and complete again
