A part of her died inside

A part of her died inside
when she tried to
rekindle a relationship
with someone that she knew
from a long time ago

Things had changed
through the years
and everything was
different now
and nothing was
the same anymore

She actually thought
she could start
where she left off
but unfortunatly to many
years had gone by
and deep down inside
she is left now with
an uneasy feeling
and wondering why

It's never easy
letting go of the past
especially when there were
so many fond memories

But you know  how
the old saying goes
no matter how bad it hurts
that some times it is best
to leave the past in the past

Hopefully some day soon
some one special will come around
that can take her heart to the moon

Because she truly deserves to be
loved just like anyone else

My prayers go out to her
in more ways then one

God bless you my Friend
