I will never allow myself to
ever forget either one of you
I know that many years have gone by
since the days when
both of you passed away
and I must admit that
deep down in my heart
that the two of you
have truly been missed
ever since you had to go away
There are moments like today
when I find myself reminiscing
and also day dreaming of the years
that we were able to spend together
and every once in while I catch myself crying
for no other reason then missing you like I do
especially this close to the holidays
Through the years
we have shared sadness together
and we also shared many days of laughter
and many stories at the dinner table
That's why both of you
were so special to me
and you always will be
I know that neither one of you
are here anymore
in the physical world
and that is always so hard to handle
But I also feel that
deep within my heart
that you are always close by
Because I can feel your spirits
close to me at all times
As long as I live
I will never allow myself
to forget either one of you
Because through out the years
the two of you
have always left me with
a lasting impression
of the special love
that you shared with me
while you were still here
The two of you were
loving and kind and caring
But it was through your
nurturing and your guidance
and your unconditional love
that you shared with me
