God is our guiding light

God is our guiding light and he is the way
and even though we are just mere human beings
he is still our guide and he can truly lead us to victory
He brings us shelter when we need nurturing
and a helping hand
And he also plants seeds within our minds
so that we can grow in time
And through humility and grace he teaches us many lessons
so that our hearts and our spirits can grow fonder with him by our side
When we are sick or troubled he helps us to get better
so that we can become stronger
I have seen some of his blessings and I have experienced them
And I know that with him everything is possible
Without him you will always remain blind
and you will never be able to see the way
more or less the beauty in a day
You may stray and you may walk away
But hopefully some day really soon you will come around when you are truly ready
so that you can finally be set free from the darkness so that you can see the light of day
God is our guiding light and he is the way
