I Saw a Dragon in the Sky
I saw a Dragon in the sky,
and thought my eyes told a lie.
I saw a Dragon in the sky,
something you don't everyday spy.
I saw a Dragon in the sky,
swooping low then soaring high.
I saw a Dragon in the sky,
his fire-breath scorched the river dry.
I saw a Dragon in the sky,
oh how gracefully did he fly!
I saw a Dragon in the sky,
dared not look him in the eye.
I saw a Dragon in the sky,
was he looking around for something to fry?
I saw a Dragon in the sky,
as for attacking me he did not try.
I saw a Dragon in the sky,
he grinned down at me as he flew by.
I saw a Dragon in the sky,
and did not know whether to laugh or cry.
I saw a Dragon in the sky,
and knew my eyes told no lie.
I saw a Dragon in the sky,
a sight I won't forget till the day I die.
I saw a Dragon in the sky,
let's keep him secret, you and I.
