Some men have the knack, a talent Some men just haven't got a clue Why is it I choose men that really Wouldn't have an idea what to do Romance should be a subject in education The Art of Seduction could be its theme What we girls usually look for in men Don't tell me it's all a pipe-dream And before all of you with a degree In matters close to the heart Let me impart a little information So we don't disagree from the start One boyfriend thought of an usual gift As he proffered two new seats for the front of his car I was all overcome with emotion And said a very polite “tar” Other presents I have been given affectionately Are a vacuum cleaner, a spade and electric toothbrush What was the message they were trying to give me Whatever it was, I didn't agree very much A nice date would be a meal at an Italian Not watching motor bikes whiz round a track Some very peculiar experiences Now I stop and take a glance back Vote for this poem |
