 Wanderer

It is time now for me to go.
I'm like a river, I must always flow.
There are so many things I want to see,
so many places I want to be.
There is so much I want to do,
that's why I can't always stay with you.
I want to wander far and wide,
but to do this I have to leave your side.
It's time for me to leave home,
across the world I'm going to roam.
Of course I'll come back one day,
or maybe I will see you along the way.
I hear that all rivers run to the sea,
perhaps that is where you'll find me.
Once I have done and seen it all,
then I might give you a call.
