Frozen in time
we walked in the rain

Do you remember
the last time
we walked in the rain
through the forest
and the true joy that
we shared with each other
I cant allow myself
to ever forget it
because it was such
a peaceful moment
that we were able to
share with each other
On that particular day
it was like
we had both gone through a
spiritual cleansing
I can still remember
how much we smiled
and laughed together
and the wonderful
conversation that we
shared with each other
as we both held hands
and walked down the trail
together enjoying all the beauty
that surrounded us that day
Do you remember the rain
as it began to fall harder
through the covered trees
and we tried to seek cover
as the breeze took over
and the feeling of coolness filled the air
I can still feel the rain
deep within my mind
as it slipped through the trees
and started falling down on us
as we both became totally drenched
But it was one
of those moments in time
that was completely
refreshing and so relaxing
and comforting
Neither one of us
really cared
how soaking wet
we had gotten
because it was
such a special moment
It truly was a
moment frozen in time
that was filled with
beautiful memories
Because the two of us
were able to
share the experience
with each other
