HEAT OF THE NIGHT
I place a match to the logs
And the flames are soon crackling
The fireplace becomes a den
To the heat of the night
Slowly the intensity
Of the glow begins
Igniting a pink blush
As the world is set alight
We kneel before the hearth
And a spark ensues
The air is electric and
My heart takes flight
Lay in front of the embers
Encased by your strong arms
You are truly my desire
And this feeling is oh so right
