Maybe my wish will come true

As I looked outside
I could barely see
outside of my
foggy window
But what I could see
appears to me
that there is a possibility
that it just might snow
The rain keeps falling
and the wind keeps blowing
and it sure is really cold outside
Personally I have had enough
cold for one day
You know
I was thinking
wouldn't it really be nice
if it started snowing
when I woke up in the morning
At least I am staying inside
for the rest of the night
and staying mighty warm
But before to much longer
it will be that time of night again
for me to get into bed
and to lay down my sleepy head
so that I can wander off
into a dreamy state of mind
And maybe
just maybe
when I wake up
in the morning
my wish will
come true
and it will be
snowing
