Ten years have gone by
since you went away
to that place up in the sky
Its always hard for me
to talk about this
But I cant let
a year go by
without being able
to remind myself
and every one else
just how much
you have been missed
At least you were
able to tell me
one last time
that you loved me
and we shared
one last kiss together
before it was
your time to go away
The more that I
think about it
the more I realize
just how lucky I was
to be able to share
those final three
words with you
And I will
carry your words
in my heart and soul
and I will cherish them
until the day that I die
Because I knew
just how much
you loved me
I truly am thankful
for all the years
that we were able to
share together
It was a
wonderful journey
that I will
always treasure
Because you meant
the world to me
and so much more
Because you were
my Mother
