WHhhhhheeeeeeeeeee,
this was written when given new year wishes by a friend I met on Starlitecafe.com, she and I have been sharing our poems for sometime. I wrote this is response to a lovely comment she gave about living life to the full. I asked her if we held hands could we jump together into the unknown. she wrote me back and said ready steady go!
Hey Butterfly?
can you feel the warmth of a breeze upon your face
as amongst those fluffy white clouds, you and I race
dancing off the mountain tops as we fly
higher on up into the night shadows of the sky
look down my friend, look to see what I can see
a beauteous vista spread before our eyes
our faces wreathed in happy, joyful smiles
holding tight, now quick holder tighter still,
as we plummet down to rejoin our fleshy souls below
our spirits have fly free now and then you know!
but what a wonderful time you and I had
when we met on spiritual plane
can we do it again?
