Discipline
You must have the discipline,
To stop temptation of sin;
And maintaining self-control,
For purity in your soul.
But when you do not abide,
By His Word down deep inside;
Then is the time that you stray,
In His eyes you disobey.
Soon enough your will know,
When the blessings will not flow;
And the Lord will punish you,
A correction that is due.
The Lord does it out of love,
Any discipline thereof;
Indicating the mistake,
With the sinning that you make.
Like a dad to a child,
Does not want to go wild;
Showing we are not alone,
To call us His very own.
