What is God's finest creation?
Is it you, is it me?
Is it the mountains or the sea?
Is it the wolf that cries,
or the hawk that flies?
Is it the breeze in the trees,
or the crisp Autumn leaves?
Is it the dirt under the rug,
or the black-spotted ladybug?
A field-mouse safe and snug,
or a deep hole freshly dug?
The child running down the street,
or the golden field of waving wheat?
The great antler-crowned elk king,
or the diamond on a wedding ring?
The midnight moon, the ancient sun,
the yellow grasslands where shy deer run?
The potted plants in the hall,
the crane that stands tall?
Yes, God in His wisdom made them all.
Yet what is God's finest creation?
It is you, it is me,
it is the mountains and the sea.
It is the wolf that cries,

It is the the breeze in the trees
and the crisp Autumn leaves.
It is the dirt under the rug

It is the child running down the street,
