He no longer had a home(Inspirational)(Video included)
He no longer had a home
Written by D.A.M
January 23, 2008 (5:08am)
(This is a poem about
healing after the loss of my other Dobie)
(Please press the play button in the corner twice)
(My newest addition to the family has been a joy and a blessing to have around and I am so glad that I found him on July-5-2007 just a month after my other Dobie of ten years had passed away because he truly has helped me to heal inside.)
He had so much love to give
and he was still very young
But he no longer had
someone who could love him
Because he no longer had a home
that he could call his own
Because the home
that he had lived in
had burned down to the ground
It's a shame that these things
had to happen to him this way
because he had to be
taken away from his family
And all he ever wanted
was someone
who believed in adoption
that could be as loving
and as friendly as him
Because he no longer
wanted to be lonesome
and neither did I
Then one day I found him
while I was browsing online
and you cannot imagine
how much joy it brought to me
the first time that I saw him
So I decided to go and visit him
even though he was two hours away
and the moment that I met him
for the very first time
I knew that he was a blessing
and that he was meant for me
I was so thankful
for the miracle that
came to me that day
Because he truly was
just right for me
and he has been ever since
that day when I adopted him
In loving memory of my best friend
who passed away June-5-2007

Bumps in the road (Friendship)
An angel in disguise
You are so much more
The tears of my past could fill a river bed
Some day God will fill a cup full of your tears
Ten seconds was all that I had to make a split decision.
