How many times did they say
give me one more chance
because they wanted to stay
But you have heard that
so many times before
You finally said
I think this will be
our last dance
Because you do not see
room for romance anymore
Because every time
something happens
they are always ready
to walk out the door
Because they said it
way to many times before
that they did not want
to live there anymore
And yet they still
continue to say
that they would be
lost without you
Because they still
love you
more then you
will ever know
But you know better now
How many times did they say
give me one more chance
because they wanted to stay
