Angel

If my inner tears
could build
a stairway

Dear Lord please send
a special angel down
the stairway  to me
so that she can comfort me
and guide me along my way

dividers

Because I sure
could use some
reassurance and
understanding today

dividers

Because lately
it seems like
nothing has
been going my way

If my inner tears
could build a stairway
