A new canvas was being painted in the sky

It was another windy day
as  I looked above me to see
the clouds as they kept rolling by
like bails of hay
building a castle in the sky
creating imaginary illusions
that are difficult to describe

dividers

And yet I was frozen
in the moment with fascination
as I watched with amazement
as the images started to transform
right before my eyes

dividers

This is when I
began to realize
that the winter
days have arrived

dividers

But if only for a moment in my day
I must say that I truly did enjoy watching
these creations going through there transformations
because a new canvas was being painted in the sky
