NEW KID IN SCHOOL

Bill was the new kid in school
We were an odd couple we two
We met trying out for football
He was a little guy not very tall
I'd say five six probably all
Me I was six foot three
A hundred sixty pounds skinny
He was turning out for fullback
Coach said both of us little meat we lacked
I remember on that bus that day
This big Dude lineman they called Clay
On that bus he picked on Bill all the way
Got off the bus Bill handed me his horn rimmed glasses
Kids formed a circle we would miss some classes
I pushed Bill aside said, "Clay's more my size!"
But with Bill you see that wasn't wise
He said to me, "Dandy", this is not your fight
First punch surprised Clay with a swift leading right
Clay wasn't a light weight hit Bill with a thud
It was an even fight and both drew blood that day
But the one who wanted to stop was a cat named Clay
Broken nose, tears, Clay said to save face, "I think the fight a draw!"
Bill walked away saying, "Call me down wimp I'll break your jaw."
