I went through so many changes
when I lost my mom
and you still stood beside me
when I couldn't find my way on my own
You always tried to help me
to get through the difficult days
reminding me that I was never alone
Back then I found
that really hard to believe
Because at the time
I really didn't believe in anyone
Some how you changed my mind
and you changed my world
Because something inside of you
believed in me
Because you knew that I would
eventually find my way
I can reflect back on the memories now
remembering how things used to be
and how they are today
Because
You helped me find my way
