sitting by the window

Every day she finds herself sitting by the window
with the curtains barely open
She's all by herself
and she is tired of
suffering and crying
like she does every day
when he is not around
She's keeps contemplating
on whether she should
stay or whether she should go
These thoughts have crossed her
mind many times before
And no one really knows
how she is feeling inside
not even her closest friends
Because she keeps
her feelings hidden
The only reason
she keeps holding on
is because she loves him
And she keeps hoping that he will eventually
come around and start loving her again
like he did when they first started dating
Every day she finds herself sitting
by the window with the curtains barely open
She's all by herself
and she is tired of
suffering and crying
like she does every day
when he is not around
